At the entrance to the garage, all passengers in a car have to show their badges. <\/p>\n<p>While I handed mine over to the guard, I pointed at the three month old baby and said jokingly: &#8220;My nephew doesn&#8217;t have his badge yet, but we will certainly go and see protocol right away in order to see, what can be done about it.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>The guard pondered my remark and then said gravely: &#8220;I don&#8217;t think we have special regulations for cases like this, but just for once I&#8217;m making an exception and I&#8217;m letting you through without his badge.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shortly after the implementation of the Council of Europe&#8217;s new security concept I was riding in my car with my nephew.
