Campaigns of the Council of Europe
The Council of Europe uses a number of different means to promote its core values – human rights, democracy and the rule of law.
Campaigns are chief among them: They aim at raising awareness for specific questions within the societies of its member states. Furthermore, the Council of Europe’s campaigns ought to provide the member states with a starting point for taking up a certain topic, adapt it to national specifics and follow up on it at national level.
