Dosta!

Dosta! Enough! Go beyond prejudice, meet the Roma!

“Dosta!” is a Romani word. It means “Stop!”, or “Enough!”, and expresses the wish to make people look beyond prejudice and stereotypes and discover the Roma and their way of life as they really are.

The Council of Europe’s campaign is trying to raise awareness for the fact, that the approximately 10 million European Roma are citizens of Europe.

They have the same rights and duties as everyone else and have been contributing to Europe’s cultural diversity from time immemorial.

Since its launching in 2006, the campaign has already been implemented in 18 Council of Europe member states.
