Action

On-topic action of the Council of Europe

The Council of Europe uses a number of different means to promote its core values – human rights, democracy and the rule of law.

Among them are public relations activities such as radio and TV-spots, street happenings, posters, brochures, open panels, merchandise, comic books, the use of social media platforms and more.

The on-topic action of the Council of Europe aims at raising awareness for specific questions within the societies of its member states. Furthermore, such action ought to provide the member states with a starting point for taking up a certain topic, adapt it to national specifics and follow up on it at national level.
